Working With Organisations

I work with English language schools, pathway providers, and international universities to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be — operationally, academically, and in terms of their people.

Most organisations I work with are at one of two critical points: either growing fast and finding that their systems haven’t kept up, or they have been successful for a long time and are starting to ask how they can work more efficiently without compromising on quality. The pressure points are familiar — teacher retention, accreditation preparation, developing middle managers, launching new programmes. These are solvable problems, and the kind I have spent a long time working on from the inside.

Over 15 years as a senior leader at three of Vietnam’s most prominent education providers — ILA Vietnam, HUTECH University, and RMIT University Vietnam — I built academic operations from scratch, launched the country’s first accredited Foundation Studies programme, developed more than 20 Academic Managers into confident leaders, and worked within British Council, NEAS, and TEQSA accreditation frameworks.

With deep roots in Vietnam and experience across the Gulf, I work remotely and in-market with organisations that want to move from good intentions to operational reality.

How I Work

01
Initial Conversation

A free 45-minute call. You tell me what you are working on — I listen, ask questions, and give you an honest view of whether I am the right person to help. If I do not think I am, I will say so.

02
Scoped Proposal

If there is a genuine fit, I put together a short written proposal — the problem as I understand it, what I would deliver, how long it would take, and what it would cost. Simple and specific.

03
Delivery

I work closely with your team throughout — remotely or on-site depending on the engagement. The goal is something tangible your organisation can use and build on independently.

Consulting Services

I work with schools, pathway providers, and education groups on a project basis — bringing senior-level expertise to specific challenges without the overhead of a full-time hire. All engagements begin with a free initial conversation.

Workshops & Training Days

In-person or online

Practical, hands-on sessions for academic teams. Topics include Academic Manager development, CPD frameworks, observation and feedback, student retention strategies, and accreditation preparation. Designed around your context, not generic content. Half-day and full-day formats available.

Project Engagements

Defined scope · Clear deliverables

Structured projects with agreed deliverables, delivered remotely or with an on-site visit where needed.

Academic Operations Audit

A structured review of your academic operations — timetabling, teaching allocation, assessment tracking, and workflow. Delivered as a prioritised action plan and 90-minute debrief.

Typical duration: 2–3 weeks.

Accreditation Readiness Review

A gap analysis against your target framework — British Council, NEAS, EAQUALS, or TEQSA — with a traffic-light readiness report and clear action roadmap.

Typical duration: 3–4 weeks.

Academic Manager Development Programme

A bespoke short programme covering observations, feedback, performance management, and the transition from teacher to leader. Structured sessions, real-work tasks, and coaching conversations.

Typical duration: 4–6 weeks.

New Programme Design & Launch Support

End-to-end support for pathway, foundation, or EAP programmes — curriculum framework, assessment design, timetabling, and staff briefing. Built on direct experience launching Vietnam’s first accredited Foundation Studies programme.

Typical duration: 4–6 weeks.

Advisory Retainer

Ongoing · Monthly

For organisations that want ongoing senior guidance without a full project engagement. A set number of hours each month — used flexibly for strategic advice, problem-solving, document review, or leadership support. Builds a long-term relationship rather than a one-off transaction. Minimum three months.

Not sure what you need? I will listen and tell you honestly whether I can help.
